The capital city of the state of Guanajuato inaugurates its first Industrial Park

GUANAJUATO, Gto- With an initial investment of 180 million pesos, the first industrial park was inaugurated in the state capital.

VYNMSA Guanajuato Industrial Park envisages in the first stage the development of 13.6 Hectares, of a total of 74 to be built in three phases, to reach an approximate investment of 900 million pesos.

In terms of employment, it is estimated that in its three stages will be housing about four thousand workers, mainly from the 12 nearby communities that today move to Irapuato and Silao to work. During the first stage, about 1,500 jobs will be generated.

According to the General Director of VYNMSA, Alejandro González Quezada, this is an industrial park of level AAA level, the first to be developed in its entirety in the state.

“This is the first industrial park designed and developed exclusively by VYNMSA in Guanajuato; However, our presence in the state dates back nine years, because we bought a part in Castro del Rio Park and developed 11 buildings. We also bought land in Inner Harbor and we have a mini park there, he said.

It is estimated that in a term of three to four years the third stage is being concluded.

“We are opening it together with the first inventory building, which has five thousand square meters. The market is very active and we believe that we will put the product very fast.”

He estimated that once reached the three stages, will be housing between 15 and 20 companies, mainly manufacturing and largely the automotive sector, although it will be open to other industries.

For this project is in the final stage of negotiations with two companies in the automotive sector.

VYNMSA has 23 industrial parks in the country, many of them in northeastern Mexico, with presence in Guanajuato, Querétaro and San Luis Potosí for nine years.
